Welcome Spring!
The last few weeks I've been taking my camera, Nik, out with me most days on my way to work and snapping photos of all of the incredible things that are blooming here in Mt. Pleasant. I'm happy to say that I got a ton of shots of the dogwoods that are only around for about two weeks and all kinds of wisteria, cyclamen, tulip trees. etc. Every single blossom is so incredible and leaves me in awe of nature.
I'm really amazed by the detail of the petals, colors of the sky and contrast of the branches against them. Everyone is different just like a snowflake. It's pretty much unending what I can see just in the half mile that I travel to work.
I have a really old paint shop pro program that in most ways is really outdated. The thing is, like an old typewriter font, it is still really cool. One of my favorite things to use on it is the kaleidescope tool. I pick the orbits, petals and offsets. It manages to bring details of photos to life that otherwise would be overlooked. I can sit for hours just trying different combos of the same photo.
I've been a florist for a long time but I'm always amazed at the things that I find right on my street- natural and untouched

I totally understand your vision here and have done several similar pictures over the years in photoshop.
There is something satisfying with making geometry from the randomness, i can't quite put my finger on it but I think it has something to do with the nature of reality..ooh so deep haha!!
